it was about this boy (can't remeber his name..) and his friends, and this sorcerer. the boy became the sorcerer's apprentience, or whatever, (these are just my memories of the book.. i think it might have the word apprentence in it or whatevr,, i'm not sure) and they were at this huge gate to another world of like dark and evil monsteres and whatever, trying to rescue something. i don't even remember, and there were these mean kids, one had red hair (yes not very good details to rember..) and he had this book of magic and he was like saying spells.. i think. i might be thinkging of 2 different books.. but if anyone knows the title of the book i'm talking about..(or books..haha) can yu please help me out??
