Kids age groups?

i have a 2 going to be 3 yr old in sept. is it true that it is terrible 2s and horrible 3ss? i hope not cuz i am pulling hair out everyday with the why mommy ?'s. any support out there plz help!

LoL I think they all go through this stage. It doesn't get any worse, or any better on some cases. At least they are closer to being potty trained! =]

Ive got three kids and with my boy I never experienced that, but with my girl...OH MY GOD! She started around 18 months, but by the time she hit 3 she was tolerable, it only got better after that, shes 6 now and still has her moments, but she's lovely.

I guess it depends on the child and their personality, but I think the closer she comes to 3 she has more of an understanding of things so it gets a little easier.

Have you read 'Toddler Taming' by Dr Christopher Green? I really recommend it, it has the greatest advice on how to handle our lovely little terrors! Good Luck!

take deep breath stay patient, and remember there are a million other mothers going through the same thing. They won't be young forever, try listening to that Crosby Stiil Nash and Young song Teach Your Children. Maybe that will give you some comfort.

Look for a mother's day out program, or even a mini-preschool. You just need a break from mommy-dom...which isn't bad at all! It's great for the kids as well, they get to spend some time with other kids. That will give you time to do stuff for yourself. I was alot more patient with my kids when I spent some time away from them.

Just wait until he/she's a teenager...you'll be begging for the "why mommy's?" LOL ;-)
