Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming & then punish them for getting their hair we

Isn't it impossible to go swimming for 3 hrs. %26amp; not get your hair wet?

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

Perhaps the parent spends alot of time or money doing the child's hair and is too frugal or lazy to redo the child's hair. If the child's hair requires alot of care then perhaps the parent should find an easier style to maintain or get a rubber swim cap for the child. Some hair is easily damaged as in breakage if you don't get chlorine out and for some the chlorine can cause an undesirable color change. Overall, any parent that yells at their child for getting their hair wet needs to get a life.

That is just so sad. Half the fun of swimming is the freedom and doing what you want in the water, flips, dunks, diving, backstroke, or whatever. Why suggest any activity and expect someone to sit on the sidelines?

Some parents are just weird.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

I've never seen that. Sorry it happened to you. It sounds a little phsyco to me....

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

haha that's true, and the weirdest thing.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

It doesn't even sound possible! If parents are that concerned with their children's hair, then perhaps they should invest in one of those funny looking shower caps to prevent their hair from getting wet. But, what fun is it to go swimming and not get your hair wet??!?!?!

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

this is wierd... i have never in my life heard of any parent getting on to thier child for getting their hair wet after swimming.... thats like telling them to clean there hair without shampoo.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

That is just beyond stupid, if they don't want their kids hair wet, then don't let them go in the water. Or they need to buy them swim caps. Anyways it is just hair it will dry.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

um wow those parents have issues. when i take my kids swimming we get as wet as possible, that is the point! maybe if there is a good reason they just cant get their hair wet that is why but then they just shouldnt take their kids to the pool then. stupid parents, just let your kids have fun!

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

Swimming caps would be okay. But what do some parents expect when the kids go swimming?

Dry hair?

Some parents are just silly.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

Unless they are prone to swimmers ear I don't understand how they can not get their hair wet. If they are scared of water in their childrens ears they make plugs for that. Good question, can't wait to hear the answers.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

lol!!! thats funny. and i agree with every one that said that its impossible to go 3 hrs swimming and not get your hair wet.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

What....thats crazy.

I've never see someone do that.

No offense, but your parents suck for that.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

These are the type of parents who don't explain what they mean, like saying "Shut your mouth and eat", which can't be done if you don't open your mouth to put food into it.

What they mean is that they want the kids to go into the pool but not to submerge themselves. So they don't really mean "swimming" but rather just bobbing around.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

ive never heard of such a stupid punishment.....and frankly think the parents are outta their mind.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

My mom never let us splash.

Like, what the heck wa the point of swimming!!

PArents are weird. people have strange standars

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

I thought that if you go swimming that children were supposed to get their hair wet to avoid getting sick. I don't know if that's true but that's what I always heard but when my daughter goes swimming I want her to get her hair wet!!

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

That's just insane. The whole point of swimming is to get wet all over and cool down. We got teased when we were kids and didn't want to dunk our head in the water (I hated the water-in-the-ears thing).

Ever ask the parents why? Maybe they think the kid will catch pneumonia if it runs around with wet hair.

Why do some parents allow their kids to go swimming %26amp; then punish them for getting their hair wet?

If they don't want their children's hair wet, they should get them bathing caps that fit snugly. But I mean OMG who cares about getting your hair wet - they are kids, it is summer. Big deal.
