Are there any national chains? What about places near baltimore? Do regular salons do emo and bright colors? I WANT TO KNOW HOW THOSE COOL KIDS GET THEIR HAIR LIKE THAT!

normal salons do that stuff, but they wouldn't know what emo is.
just find a picture you like on photobucket or something, print it out, and tell them "i want my hair like THIS"
and wa-lah.
but most emo kids do their hair at home, actually. there are tons of sites that can teach you how to get emo hair. even those that poke fun at emo, they still are right.

haha.. no there is no national "emo salon" but you go to any salon and tell them what you want and/or show them a picture and they will do it

cut it yourself real choppy with craft scissors- now that's emo!! then get chunks dyed outrageous colors, in any hair salon really.
