more than their fair share of money/stuff etc??

I've known women getting divorced that get lawyers (with husbands money) and try to get every thing they can even though they're the one at fault or cheated. I've also had my own experence in the past. What the hell??

I overheard while waiting to get a hair cut. The beautition bragging to the customer about what she was getting in the divorce!! Are these women just evil or is this standard procedure??

i'm not divorced yet,but we separated 4 years ago.when he left he took the car,the money,stereo,tv,books,dvds etc etc.i got left with the house(council,not bought)and any debts we had.so we aren't all the same!

What is your idea of a 'fair share'?

For the courts, it's 50% of the marital assets. You should have known that going into the marriage. A marriage is a partnership, you can't go back afterwards and say "Well, I made 75% of the house hold income, so my wife should only get 25% of the marital assets"

Unless there are extenating circumstances, the courts award 50% of the assets, and with no children %26amp; if the wife is working, no alimony.
