Should i step in?

my best friend in the whole wide world is white. She is mad kool. Her and her boyfriend, who happens to be black had a baby who is now 2 years old. She is the cutest thing. The only thing is, is that my friend cannot do the kid's hair to save her life. She just sprays some water on it and puts it in a pony tail. I try to tell her that her babies hair isent the right texture for that and she usually ends up with her hair all over the place. Should i teach my friend how to do ethnic hair? or just let her be the parent??

I think you should teach her, otherwise she will never learn. I had a friend who was mixed and her mother was white and her hair always looked a mess (seriously it looked awful, and we were teens), because they did not know what to do with it, until another friend helped her out. She knows nothing about ethnic hair and probably wont seek out help to make the child presentable proactively. Give her some tips, don't be overbearing.

Should i step in?

You should definitely offer her some help. I wish someone could teach me how to do my boyfriend's little girls hair. It is such a big challenge and I understand someone being too proud to ask 4 help, but I'm sure she won't be too proud to take some tips. It's best for your friend and the child. Report It

Should i step in?

I'm sure she'll be happy if you teach you how to do the hair. Just be cool about it, not like omg you dont know anything let me do it!!

Should i step in?

I think you should stop being friends with her. Most white people are on antidepressants and there unstable, you never know when there gonna snap. Its best to end the relationship

Should i step in?

that sucks for your friend. she hasnt got a clue on what shes doing. You should help her out.

Should i step in?

Help your friend! Bring some cute styling items and ask if you can fix the baby's hair. Then fix it super cute. She will ask you to show her how you did it.

My baby girl is white and hispanic. She has beautiful long dark brown hair, down to her thighs. My sister-in-law taught me some neat hair styles they do in Central America. Jjust ask her if you can do the baby's hair, and she can learn by watching you.

Should i step in?

I think you can step in and help out. I mean, there is nothing wrong with giving her some advise. Her daughter needs the best care for her hair since it's delicate and probably bushy. Yeah step in and help out, just teach her some stuff so that she knows how to take care of it. =)

Should i step in?

You should definitely step in! Don't be esocteric with what you know. Teach her, but don't do in a condescending way.. Your her friends, so I am sure you wouldn't do that.

Should i step in?

For sure help her ^_^

I'll be having a baby with the same problem..lol, but I'll be begging my boyfriends' mom to show me how to do hair!!!

I'm sure she'll appreciate it!!!

Best of luck!

Yes!! Help her out! Don't let that baby go around lookin' crazy! It's not her fault she really doesn't know how to do it. Teach her and I'm sure she'll appreciate it!
