Should Dr.'s do any tests on little kids be for ruleing anything out?

My 4 year old daughted has has constapation and kidney problems sence a year and a half ago. they have never did tests to check her intestents for anything they just say it is behaverol. but she is on 11 deffrent meds for it all. and i just found out that the Zelnorm that she is taking can cause intestinal diseases in witch some people died. now her hair is falling out what should i do? the dr said not to worey but she has boled spots.

Anytime anyone is put on more than 2 meds, I'd get another opinion. That is WAY too many meds for anybody to keep track of all of the interactions and side effects. Something is wrong.



Your doctor sounds like he has a write script ask question latter methodology, I'd find another one.

yikes, maybe go to another doctor. Take your childs medical care into your own hands and be proactive, they need you for that. Doctors are not the end all be all for knowledge, they can make mistakes as well, or just be plain bad doctors.
